Spring is right around the corner, and you know what that means? Colourful blooms, bright fruits, and aromatic herbs are about to bless us with their beauty! With that glimmer of sunshine, we couldn’t be more excited. Pollination

How can we not kick things off with a cocktail that captures the very essence of springtime? A floral take on the classic Bee’s Knees, our Empress Elderflower Rose Gin’s botanicals pair wonderfully with the rich sweetness from honey for a sip that will have you anticipating the blooms to come.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 oz Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Honey Syrup
  • Lemon Twist, for garnish
METHOD

Shake ingredients on ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Elderflower Collins

If this doesn’t look like spring in a glass, we don’t know what else could! We all love mixing elderflower with our Empress Indigo Gin, and @afullliving certainly maximizes its deliciousness with this collins. Light, crisp, and a bit sweet; it has everything we enjoy in a refreshing cocktail!

INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz Soda Water
  • Lemon Wheel
METHOD

Add simple syrup, lemon juice, and elderflower liqueur in a glass highball or Collins glass filled with ice.⁣ Top with Empress Indigo Gin⁣, then garnish with lemon wheels & edible flowers (optional) for presentation.

Cucumber Limoncello Spritz

It’s always spritz season in our book, but spring is especially a great time to make the most out of its magic! With @emilylaurae’s rejuvenating mix of cucumbers and zesty citrus, this sip amplifies the vibrant profile of our Cucumber Lemon expression perfectly.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin
  • 2 oz Cucumber Juice
  • 1½ oz Limoncello
  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • Mint Leaves, Cucumber Slices, Lemon Wheels & Cornflower Petals, to garnish
METHOD

Combine the cucumber juice, limoncello, and Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin into a chilled serving glass with ice. With a bar spoon, give the drink a gentle stir to combine the ingredients. Top with prosecco and garnish with a few cucumber slices, lemon slices, mint leaves, and cornflower petals before enjoying!

Rose Garden Lychee Sparkler

Is there anything more divine than fruits and florals? Serve up this delight by @thesocialsipper‘s that captures the lush vibes of springtime! This easy sipper is bound to be a crowdpleaser at any upcoming garden party.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin
  • 1 oz Strawberry Puree
  • 1½ oz Lychee Syrup (from canned lychee)
  • ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Dash Rose Water
  • ½ cup Sparkling Water
  • Strawberry, Lychee & Edible Flower, to garnish
METHOD

Add strawberry puree, lychee syrup, lemon juice and rosewater to a cocktail glass and stir to combine. Fill the glass with ice. Add sparkling water. Slowly pour Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin over top, creating a layer over the drink. If desired, garnish with a fresh strawberry, lychee and an edible flower. Stir before enjoying!

Strawberry Crush G&T

There’s a G&T for every occasion, and this one by @bevsbybeverly deserves to be at the top of your list of variations to try! The burst of strawberries and light sweetness mixed with the opulence of our Empress Indigo Gin make for a wonderful accompaniment to enjoy alongside the seasonal blossoms.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1½ oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
  • ½ oz Elderflower or Simple Syrup
  • ¼ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz Tonic Water
  • 4 sliced Strawberries, plus more for garnish
METHOD

In a cocktail glass, combine strawberries, syrup, and lemon juice. Muddle to release as much of the juice from the strawberries as possible. Fill the glass with ice. Pour in gin and top with tonic water.
