1. Grilled Lemon Empress & Tonic
Starting off strong, @thesocialsipper created a refreshing delight made even better by incorporating grilled lemon slices into the drink. The charred citrus provides some roasted flavours and outdoor BBQ vibes, perfect for enjoying out on the patio!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
- 4 oz Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic Water
- 1 Lemon
- Garnish: Edible Flower & Rosemary
Method
- Slice a lemon into 1/4 inch rounds. Oil grill grates so the lemon doesn’t stick. Char lemon slices on both sides and let cool.
- Fill a copa glass with ice. Add Empress 1908 Indigo Gin and elderflower tonic water and stir. Add grilled lemon slices to the glass.
- Garnish with rosemary sprig and edible flower.
