Featuring effervescent bubbles, a touch of sweetness and, of course, Empress 1908 Gin, this cocktail was designed for a toast. Read on for three ways to reshake this classic for the season ahead.

With a base of lemon juice, simple syrup, sparkling and gin leaves the door open for endless tasty twists— get creative with infused simple syrups, warm winter spices, bright berries and the garnish of your choice!
1. cranberry 75
A cocktail made for the holidays, the bubbly ‘Cranberry 75’ features the tart flavour of delicious cranberry. A simple splash of cranberry juice makes this already-spectacular drink the talk of any cocktail party!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1½ oz Empress 1908 Gin
- ½ oz Lemon Juice
- ½ oz Cranberry Juice
- ½ oz Simple Syrup
- Sparkling Wine
- Cranberries
METHOD:
Shake all ingredients but sparkling wine on ice, and fine strain into a chilled champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with cranberries.
2. cinnamon 75
The ‘Cinnamon 75’ is a holiday twist on the classic Empress 75 featuring the warm, familiar flavour of cinnamon. Homemade cinnamon syrup adds that extra touch of seasonal spice.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1½ oz Empress 1908 Gin
- ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ oz Cinnamon Syrup
- 1 tsp. Maple Syrup
- Sparkling Wine (To Top)
- Cinnamon Stick
METHOD:
Shake all the ingredients on ice, fine strain into a chilled champagne flute, and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
3. rosemary 75:
With herbal flavours of rosemary and a bright addition of pomegranate seeds the ‘Rosemary 75’ has an extra-festive feel.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1½ oz Empress 1908 Gin
- ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ oz Rosemary Syrup
- Sparkling Wine (To Top)
- Rosemary & Pomegranate Seeds
METHOD:
Shake all the ingredients on ice, fine strain into a chilled champagne flute, and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and pomegranate seeds.
