The Fall Gin Sangria features a multitude of components, but trust us when we say the extra work is worth it! Between the warm brandy and sparkling wine, black tea and rich fruit juice, each element brings a unique flavour to this delicious seasonal medley.
SUGAR AND SPICE, AND EVERYTHING NICE!
Before we dive into the complete cocktail details, let’s learn to create the cinnamon syrup that’s crucial to mixing the Fall Gin Sangria. We recommend making a little extra to use in creations like the Cinnamon 75 or Empress Cider— with so many options to choose from, it’s an ingredient you’ll want to keep on hand all season long!
Cinnamon Syrup ingredients:
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3-4 Cinnamon Sticks
method:
Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Reduce heat and add 3-4 cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the syrup reaches your desired level of flavour. Remove from heat, cool, and store in a sealed container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Tip— swap cinnamon for your favourite fall spice. This recipe works wonderfully with 1 oz of whole cloves, too!
Let’s make a toast!
