Spicy Pom G&T

@maplechutney creates a wonderful holiday twist on the beloved G&T with tart pomegranate and aromatic pink peppercorn and pear syrup!

2Oz
Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
1Oz
Pomegranate Juice
0.75Oz
Pink Peppercorn Pear Syrup*
Tonic Water, to top

Method

In an ice-filled rocks glass, pour in the gin, juice, and syrup and give a quick stir to combine. Top with tonic water and serve with a lime slice and pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

*To make the syrup, add ½ cup sugar, 1 ripe bosc pear (washed and chopped), 1 tbsp pink peppercorns, and ½ cup water to a small saucepan and let simmer until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let the mix steep for at least 30 minutes up to overnight. Strain, store in a jar, and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
