Spiced Cranberry Collins

Ingredients

2Oz
Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin
1Oz
Spiced Cranberry Syrup*
1Oz
Fresh Lemon Juice
Soda Water, to top
Lemon Twist, for garnish

Method

In a shaker, combine Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin, spiced cranberry syrup, lemon juice. Add ice and shake. In a collins glass, add the ice and strain the contents of the shaker. Top with soda water. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy!

Notes

*To make the spiced cranberry syrup, add ¾ cup each of water and sugar along with 3-4 star anise pods in a pan. Let it cook until sugar is dissolved. Add ½ cup of fresh or frozen cranberries and let it cool for 5-10 mins on medium heat. Strain and pour the syrup into sterilized bottles.
