Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin
1.5Oz
Meyer Lemon Juice
1Oz
Lilac Syrup*
4Oz
Grapefruit Tonic Water
Meyer Lemon Slices & Lilac Blossoms, for garnish
Method
Add the lilac syrup and meyer lemon juice to your serving glass. Add ice filling your glass ¾ of the way full before adding tonic water. Carefully float Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin on top using a bar spoon, to create a layered effect. Garnish with meyer lemon slices and lilac blossoms & enjoy!
Notes
To make the lilac syrup, add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar into a saucepan and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add ½ cup of edible and washed lilac blossoms into the hot syrup and infuse for 30 minutes before straining. Let cool completely before using.
