Empress Apple Fizz
@tarynstastingtable reminds us of why apples and spice are absolute perfection for fall with her Apple Fizz! With a fruity and spiced syrup, fragrant aromatics, and a touch of effervescence, you won’t want to miss sipping on this seasonal delight.
Add Empress Indigo Gin, lemon juice and spiced apple syrup to a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with soda water. Garnish and enjoy!
*To make the syrup, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 chopped apple, 2 cinnamon sticks, a few cloves, and 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg in a pot over medium heat. Let sugar dissolve, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for another 10 minutes. Strain and let cool. Store in a glass container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
