Blueberry Negroni

Ingredients

2Oz
Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
2Oz
Luxardo Bitter Bianco
1.5Oz
Sweet Vermouth
1Oz
Blueberry Concentrate*
Blueberries, for garnish

Method

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice until chilled. Strain into two rocks glasses filled with ice and garnish.

Notes

*To make blueberry concentrate, combine 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen), 1 tbsp finely grated orange zest, 2 tbsp sugar, and ½ cup water to a pot and bring to a boil over med-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer until blueberries release their juices, about 10 minutes. Place a sieve over a small bowl and strain, using a spoon to press the blueberries to get as much liquid as possible. Reserve the liquid and discard the blueberry pulp. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate in an airtight container.
