Cocktails for When You Need a Little Treat!

Garden Gimlet
Let’s start off easy with a beloved classic. With the sharp and bright profile of the gimlet, there’s no wonder it’s stood the test of time, and this floral take featuring our Elderflower Rose Gin is no exception! Easy to mix and oh-so delish, it’s bound to lift your spirits after a long week.

Matcha Sour
If you’re a matcha fan, give this delight by @takestwoeggs a try! Boasting earthy complexity along with crisp vegetal notes and silky smooth texture, treating yourself has never felt fancier.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin
- ½ tsp Matcha Powder
- 2 tbsp Hot Water
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 Egg White
- Edible Flowers & Matcha Powder, to garnish
METHOD
In a small bowl, whisk together ceremonial-grade matcha powder with hot water (175°F ) until no clumps remain. Add Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, matcha mixture, and one egg white to a shaker. Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for 1 minute until frothy. Next, add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and shake out the frothy egg white. Dust with matcha powder, garnish with edible flowers, and enjoy!
Chocolate Raspberry Floatini
Cocktails and ice cream – we dare you to name a better combo for when you want to reward yourself with a bit of indulgence! @foodie_renee marries these two flavours together in a tipple that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. This recipe makes three, so grab a couple friends and make a round for your next yap session!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
- 1½ oz Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 oz Raspberry Liqueur
- 2 oz Heavy Cream
- 3 scoops Chocolate Ice Cream (1 for each glass)
- Shaved Dark Chocolate and Raspberries, for garnish
METHOD
Add ingredients except for ice cream into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain between three glasses, each filled with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Garnish with shaved dark chocolate and raspberries, and enjoy!
