1. Fresh Berries

There’s nothing quite like the burst of flavour you get from ripe and fresh berries! Fruit is always an excellent choice with gin, but we especially love how the juicy tang of many berry varietals plays off the residual sweetness from the black carrot and brighter notes of the floral components. Feel free to play around with your choices, but we’re especially fans of strawberries and raspberries for their balanced finish and how they add to the gin’s ruby theme!

Coming Up Roses

Try our delicate, floral twist on the Clover Club that boasts bright raspberries, botanical complexity from Lillet Rosé, and a luxuriously silky texture!

Coming Up Roses v2
Ingredients
  • 2 oz Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose Gin
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz Lillet Rosé
  • ½ oz Raspberry Syrup
  • 1 oz Egg White (or Aquafaba)
  • Raspberries and Rose Petals, for garnish
Method

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker and shake without ice to emulsify egg white. Add ice to tins and shake again. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with raspberries and rose petals.

2. Ginger

Empress Elderflower Rose Gin has a beautifully balanced profile of subtle floral, citrus, and spice that lends itself to a variety of uses. Ginger elevates the cinnamon and orange peel in our botanical recipe perfectly for an approach that showcases the bolder flavours in this gin.
