Empress Rosey Cider Sour Fizz
When it’s fall, it’s always time for an apple cider sip! @thekitchenmccabe mixes this seasonal staple with Empress Elderflower Rose Gin for added dimensions of floral and spice, as well as an egg white for unbeatable frothy texture after lengthened with some bubbly.
Fill a cocktail glass with ice and a thin apple slice. Add the gin, apple cider, cider syrup, lemon juice, and egg white to a shaker and dry shake for 30 seconds. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 30 seconds. Strain the cocktail into the glass and top with a bit of soda water.
*To make cider syrup: add 4 cups of apple cider to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook until reduced by 75% (or down to one cup in volume). Cool and refrigerate in an airtight container.
